Projects awarded
nbn's business fibre
UGL has been awarded a significant three-year contract to deliver nbn's business fibre products across Queensland and Victoria.
UGL will provide survey, design and construction of nbn broadband infrastructure to facilitate service access to business customers on the nbn network.
Fibre to the Node network
UGL has been awarded a 3.5-year contract by NBN Co under nbn’s program to upgrade the remaining Fibre to the Node network.
Under the contract, UGL will provide design, access and engagement, construction and installation services to deploy additional fibre infrastructure to premises across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
Work is expected to commence in June 2025.
New Developments Module
UGL has been awarded a significant three-year contract by NBN Co Limited to deliver services for its residential customers under the New Developments Module (NDM) across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
As part of the NDM contract, UGL, a member of the CIMIC Group, will expand the nbn network through deploying or reconfiguring nbn broadband infrastructure, and the delivery of full fibre and HFC technologies, allowing more residential customers to connect, on demand.
This follows recent significant contract awards in the telecommunications sector and builds on the contract recently awarded to UGL by NBN Co to provide similar services for its business customers.
Work is expected to begin in November 2024.
