CIMIC does not send unsolicited job offers or request fees.
Warning signs include:
- Requests for visa or travel payments
- Requests for personal data (bank, passport, etc.)
- Poorly written emails or documents
- Offers of relocation assistance without prior engagement.
Email scams
CIMIC will never:
- Send purchase orders without formal interviews
- Request fees or commissions from suppliers
- Use variant domains or email addresses
What you can do
- Be vigilant and verify all communications.
- Report suspicious emails to: webqueries@cimic.com.au
- For identity theft or cybersecurity concerns, contact IDCARE.
- If you believe you’ve been targeted, notify local authorities and the Australian Cyber Security Centre.
