CPB Contractors is delivering BHP’s Western Ridge Crusher project in Western Australia in a joint venture alongside fellow CIMIC Group company Sedgman.
Delivery of the project will involve an end-to-end solution for design and construction of a new 30 Mtpa primary crusher (separately procured by BHP) and a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30 Mtpa.
CPB Contractors have a long track record of successfully delivering major projects for BHP and in Western Australia our Sedgman CPB Joint Venture (SCJV) has a strong workforce based in the Pilbara region already. Working with the local community, SCJVwill leverage employment, business and social opportunities on the project with a focus on skills, training and diversity to ensure an enduring legacy in the region.
SCJV acknowledge the Nyiyaparli people of the Pilbara region as the traditional and continuing custodians of the lands on which the Western Ridge Crusher project will be delivered.
