In 2021, Broad Construction was engaged by The Department of Education to design and construct a new general learning centre at the Aspley Special School.
Delivered in 2023 within a live school environment, the project involved construction of:
- A new two-storey general learning centre
- Grounds shed
- Refurbishment of the drop off zone including a new bus shelter
- Carpark extension
The new learning centre provides additional facilities for an increasing enrolment and is the only special school to provide programs for secondary aged students within the Brisbane City Council area.
Broad Construction has now been integrated to CPB Contractors. This change has enhanced CPB Contractors building expertise across Western Australia and Queensland, specifically where the majority of Broad's highly experienced delivery teams are now focused on delivering all new building projects under the CPB Contractors brand.
