CPB Contractors has delivered Nepean Hospital Redevelopment Stage 1 for the NSW Government.
The project involved the construction of a new 14-storey clinical building, which included:
- an emergency department
- 18 Birthing suites
- a Neonatal Intensive Care unit
- more than 16 operating theatres
- more than 200 overnight beds
CPB Contractors continues to provide essential infrastructure for local communities, including health facilities, public transport infrastructure and new motorways.
At the commencement of the project, 36% of our workforce was from the Greater Western Sydney region and 26% of CPB Contractors’ project workforce were women, a high figure in the construction industry.
As one of Australia’s leading construction companies, CPB Contractors is also working to increase Aboriginal participation in infrastructure projects. In this aspect, the project eclipsed the $10 million target for Aboriginal participation spend - achieving almost $28 million.

CPB Contractors acknowledged the Dharug people as the traditional and continuing custodians of the lands on which Nepean Hospital Redevelopment Stage 1 was delivered on.
