Kings Square 2, 4 and subdivision works

Leighton Properties awarded Broad, Kings Square 2 and 4 commercial office developments in the new subdivision created from the old Perth Entertainment Centre site, in the heart of Perth’s CBD.

The Kings Square development forms part of the new Perth City Link Project, a major urban renewal initiative of the West Australian State Government to bridge the existing railway and link the CBD with cultural and entertainment precincts of Northbridge.

Works comprise two A-Grade, commercial office buildings with a combined total circa of 31,500 sqm net lettable area. Both buildings target a 5 Star Green Star - Office Design v3 rating from the Green Building Council of Australia and a 5 Star NABERS energy rating.

In addition to Kings Square 2 and 4, Broad was also awarded the subdivision civil works and landscaping packages for the Kings Square Development precinct.

The works undertaken, required the coordination and liaison with two other contractors working within the precinct.

Works were undertaken in three stages and involved the installation of granite paving, full landscaping, internal roads, sewer, stormwater, gas, water mains, electrical and communications.
