At UGL, recognising the efforts of our people is an important part of our shared values and our commitment to building a positive and supportive culture. Great leadership means taking the time to acknowledge contributions, and recently three team members received recognition from their managers for their outstanding performance in safety, workmanship, and professional conduct.
These acknowledgements highlight how valued contributions – big and small – play a vital role in delivering great outcomes and strengthening a team culture focused on quality, integrity, and collaboration.
The recognition took place at UGL's dust suppression project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Delivered by UGL for a Tier One mining company, this important project is reducing dust emissions and improving air quality for the local community, reflecting our shared commitments to environmental responsibility, health, and safety.
Team members recognised were:
- Kiel Paki for his calm, team-oriented approach and leading by example.
- Cian Dunne for his consistent focus on safety and supporting his team to do the same.
- Martin Weister for demonstrating high standards in his work and exceptional welding skills, contributing to the project’s progress and success.
“It’s an honour to be recognised by the team. We all work hard to keep safety and quality at the forefront, and this award motivates me to keep striving for excellence,” shared Cian Dunne, UGL Mechanical Fitter.
Congratulations to Kiel, Cian, and Martin, your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and your commitment inspires those around you.
