CIMIC Group company UGL has been awarded a three-year contract extension with Stanwell Corporation Limited, a Queensland Government-owned energy provider supplying electricity to businesses and households across eastern Australia.
Under the extended agreement, which will run to 2029, UGL will continue to deliver essential maintenance and overhaul services, including major outage works and facilities management, across Stanwell’s power generation portfolio. This includes the Stanwell, Tarong, and Tarong North Power Stations, which UGL has supported for more than a decade.
CIMIC Group Executive Chairman Juan Santamaría said: “This renewal reflects UGL’s proven capability in maintaining complex energy infrastructure safely and efficiently. We’re proud to continue supporting Stanwell in delivering secure and reliable electricity to communities and industries across eastern Australia.”
UGL Managing Director Doug Moss said: “Since 2014, UGL’s partnership with Stanwell has been built on trust, performance, and technical excellence. This extension recognises our team’s expertise in delivering high-quality maintenance services that keep generation assets operating at peak performance.”
