UGL is proud to announce its ongoing partnership with ARRA Group, a majority Indigenous managed, owned, and controlled company based in Western Australia (WA). Since 2018, ARRA Group has been a valued supplier within the UGL supply chain, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship that supports the growth and development of both organisations.
ARRA Group specialises in training, recruiting, and placing individuals for the benefit of both candidates and employers. It is a registered Group Training Organisation (GTO). Their commitment to creating opportunities for Indigenous communities aligns seamlessly with UGL's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
This long-term partnership involves ARRA Group providing UGL with electrical and mechanical apprenticeship and trade assistant roles in our WA resources, manufacturing and maintenance lines of business. Over the course of the contract, the partnership aims to onboard over 50 apprentices, significantly contributing to workforce development and community engagement.
UGL continues to focus on the engagement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees and communities. This partnership with ARRA Group is a testament to our commitment to the principles outlined in our Stretch RAP. We strive to deepen our understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
Together with ARRA Group, UGL is dedicated to building a future where Indigenous engagement is not just a priority but a fundamental aspect of our business ethos.
