The driver behind an equal opportunity program

Brad Adams, Site Manager at Ballarat, has been the driver behind the rollout of the ‘Act on Site’ program at the UGL workshop. The program is an organisation-wide cultural change program which supports equal opportunity and promotes gender equality in traditionally male-dominated industries in the Grampians region.

Brad has played a vital role in ensuring all staff, supervisors, and leadership have been trained in ‘Act on Site’. He has also held regular meetings and engaged staff to review site conditions and updated documentation to reflect the aims of the ‘Act on Site’ Program.

His dedication and hard work have seen Brad be awarded with a Very Best Award for culture.

“Brad has ensured a great program has been implemented in Ballarat. It took a lot of coordinating and hard work for him to do it. It’s an amazing achievement and reflects Brad’s support for a positive work culture and equal opportunity,” says Telissa Patterson, who nominated him for the award.
