Ryan Amos, Continuous Improvement Lead, has certainly lived up to his job title and has been applauded by colleagues for his innovative approach to solving challenges, with UGL awarding him a Very Best Award for innovation.
Ryan used Power Apps to prototype an "Observation App". The app is being developed to enable continuous improvement onsite, and supports:
- Measuring actual work time and quantifying nonproductive or wastage time by work groups.
- Quantifying productivity improvements realised from the recent roster pattern adjustments.
- Supporting operational leaders in prioritising focus areas (including operations, trades, logistics, materials, permitting).
