UGL is proud to congratulate the first of two cohorts to graduate from our 2024 Emerging Female Leaders Program.
Since the program’s inception in 2016, UGL has supported our females through two programs delivered in partnership with Xplore for Success. The Emerging Female Leaders Program is designed to empower our people to excel both as individuals and as leaders; and the Inspire Senior Female Leaders Program equips senior talent with the skills and networks necessary for future success.
By the end of 2023, 60% of the Inspire program alumni who advanced to our internal sponsorship program have been promoted, with four of those promotions occurring in 2023 alone.
This year, UGL has doubled the number of employees accessing the Emerging Female Leaders Program. This represents our ongoing commitment to driving gender equality and inclusion, as part of our Women@UGL pillar for diversity and inclusion, and is embedded in UGL’s 2024 Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP).
Participants engage in a comprehensive journey to enhance their self-awareness, develop their insights, expand their knowledge, and hone new skills. They also discover their strengths, navigate new relationships, take calculated risks, stretch their potential, overcome barriers, explore wellness, and commit to actions that will drive their success in both life and career.
