Sedgman is proud to announce a new partnership with Indspire to provide scholarships to First Nations, Inuit and Métis people through the Building Brighter Futures (BBF): Bursaries, Scholarships and Awards program.
Indspire is an Indigenous national charity that invests in the education of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people for the long-term benefit of these individuals, their families and communities, and Canada.
Since 1996 Indspire has provided over $190,000,000CAD to students and had 90% of their graduates gain employment. This highlights the pivotal role Indspire plays in financially supporting Indigenous students to achieve a post-secondary education and gainful employment.
This award will be distributed to Indigenous students who are attending post-secondary institutions across Canada. Although demonstrated financial need will be the primary consideration, other factors may also be considered (such as involvement in and contribution to the community as a whole and academic merit and performance).
Below are the award’s criteria:
- Awards Category: Post-Secondary
- Deadlines: August 1, November 1, February 1
- Program of Study: STEM, engineering, finance, payroll, accountancy and HR
- Level of Study: Any
