Leighton Asia is proud to announce the successful delivery of the eastern section of the East Coast Boardwalk in Hong Kong.
With this final section now complete, the Boardwalk project is now fully open to the public. The project was delivered by Leighton Asia in partnership with the Civil Engineering and Development Department and Meinhardt Infrastructure & Environment Limited.
Located beneath the Island Eastern Corridor, the 2.2 km eastern section completes 13 km of continuous harbourfront from Kennedy Town to Shau Kei Wan, realising a core vision of Hong Kong’s waterfront development.
Special features include:
- An experiential glass observatory deck with direct views of the harbour
- A pet-friendly zone for visitors and their leashed pets to relax and enjoy the harbourfront
- A movable bascule bridge to facilitate marine operations
