To further enhance safety awareness and protocols among our people, our Vale project team in Indonesia organised a series of activities .
✅ Prevention Week
Our team conducted on the ground training for all subcontractors, aimed at minimising workplace accident risks. Topics included operational discipline, lifting operations, working at heights, and overall safety awareness.
✅ National OSH Month
The team kicked off OSH Month with training focused on Mining Safety Management Systems, emphasising both individual contributions and team effort for safe outcomes throughout all phases of the project.
✅ Leadership Involvement
Simon Burley, our Country Manager, visited the Pomalaa site to lead the One HSE Culture campaign, speaking with our people about the consistent implementation of safety culture across our project sites.
