Our Indonesia team recently joined PT Vale Indonesia to mark the start of mine infrastructure works – part of our long-standing client’s Indonesia Growth Project (IGP) Pomalaa in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia.
The project inauguration ceremony brought key stakeholders together, including the Regent of Kolaka, Bapak Amri; Chairman of Commission III of the Kolaka DPRD, Bapak Israfil Sanusi; Julia DeLorenzo, Second Secretary (Economic) from the Australian Embassy; the management team of PT Vale IGP Pomalaa, and our President Director, Simon Burley.
PT Vale Indonesia’s landmark IGP is part of Indonesia’s National Strategic Project and will help drive growth in the country’s nickel industry.
Leighton Asia is proud to deliver the mine infrastructure works using advanced, efficient construction technologies that meet international standards, with safety always front and centre.
We are committed to supporting PT Vale Indonesia in advancing the government’s downstream vision, building a more sustainable mining industry, and strengthening Indonesia’s role in the global electric vehicle (EV) supply chain.
