Finley Choi first joined Leighton Asia as a Graduate Engineer in 2023 and is currently contributing to the North District Hospital Expansion project in Hong Kong. In her role as an M&E Engineer, Finley is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Mechanical Ventilation and Air Conditioning (MVAC) systems work.
Her responsibilities include ensuring the design, installation, testing and commissioning of MVAC systems meet the project's specifications and safety standards. She collaborates with other engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MVAC systems within the broader project framework.
What inspired you to join the industry?
"The construction industry attracted me because of its dynamic and hands-on nature. The opportunity to bring designs to life and see the immediate results of my efforts is incredibly fulfilling. I'm inspired by the challenge of solving complex problems and finding innovative solutions that can improve the quality of life for others."
