Michael Wong, Leighton Asia’s Head of Survey and BIM Manager , recently spoke on the topic “BIM offers New Horizons for Digital Construction” at the Smart Construction User Conference in Qingdao, China.
With extensive experience in surveying for major civil, infrastructure and railway projects, along with a decade of expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM), Michael shared his insights on how integrating survey, BIM and Geographic Information System (GIS) with new technologies can enhance data accuracy and efficiency in construction.
Hosted by the Qingdao Institute of Surveying and Mapping, the conference brought together nearly 300 experts from across Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR. Attendees included government representatives, professionals and scholars from the surveying, mapping and geospatial information industry.
