Leighton Dragon Boat team paddlers were back in the water on Sunday, 2 October 2022 to race over a 250-meter course at Stanley Beach in Hong Kong.
The team underwent training on the weekend over the past three months and won the third runner-up in the Silver Cup Final.
Each dragon boat consists of 20 paddlers and a drummer at the front and a steerer at the back. The paddler’s job is to keep their strikes in sync and paddle to the finish line with the support of the drummer and steerer.
