Strong projects start with strong teams - and that belief has shaped Dylan’s entire career at CPB Contractors.
With more than 20 years’ experience in road and rail infrastructure, Dylan is a specialist in establishing and developing high-performing teams to deliver complex projects across both greenfield and brownfield environments. His career spans some of Victoria’s most challenging infrastructure works, giving him deep, hands-on expertise in bridges, retaining walls, structural steel and crane operations, as well as pre-cast and in-situ concrete construction.
As Civil & Surface Manager on the West Gate Tunnel Project, Dylan led delivery in a highly complex environment with significant rail interfaces, where stakeholder engagement, safety, and problem-solving are critical to success. Previously, on the Caulfield to Dandenong Level Crossing Removal Project, he successfully managed more than 12 occupations with no overruns or delays to handback. He also led the construction of over 10 km of new rail systems assets including overhead structures and devices for traction power, combined services routes and signalling infrastructure.
Dylan is known for backing his people, building accountability through trust, and creating a collaborative culture where teams feel supported to perform at their best. His enduring work is evident not only in the projects delivered, but in the many careers he has helped shape along the way.
"Dylan’s career has been defined by his selflessness. He has consistently prioritised the growth and development of those around him, ensuring his teams, colleagues, and mentees have access to every possible opportunity to learn, advance, and thrive," said CPB Contractors Vic/Tas General Manager Scott Knight.
This is leadership behind the hard hat and it’s one we’re proud to recognise.
