CPB Contractors Engineering Manager Miranda Kossen and Alliance General Manager Andrew Coonan have been selected as Roads Australia Fellows for the 2025 calendar year.
Together, they bring over 44 years of industry experience to the fellowship program, which focuses on enhancing skills, knowledge, and professional networks through a series of structured activities and mentoring by industry leaders over the 12-month course.
Currently overseeing the detail design for the Warringah Freeway Upgrade project in New South Wales, Miranda has extensive expertise across diverse infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, tunnels, buildings and airports and is passionate about finding a healthy balance in work and life.
“It’s up to us to make our industry attractive to the next generation. To empower others, sharing knowledge and cultivating an environment of collaboration and respect,” said Miranda.
Andrew, a chartered civil engineer, has worked in a variety of engineering disciplines, including road, rail, building, and water, across Australia and the UK.
“I’ve been fortunate to work with wonderful people while solving challenging problems in complex environments, and I am passionate about attracting and retaining tomorrow's builders to ensure Australia can continue building to support our communities,” shared Andrew.
