Family Day was a roaring success on Transport for NSW’s Rozelle Interchange project, with team members and their friends and family enjoying a day of site tours, food, carnival games and the opportunity to be photographed in the tunnels.
The event was a way to say "thanks" to the team members for their dedication and hard work over the past five years of construction.
Guests of all ages enjoyed the festivities, with younger guests getting their faces painted and crowding around the animal farm while the older kids enjoyed the hamburger and coffee carts.
A highlight of the event was the site tour, which included a stroll through the Rozelle Parklands space, through the project's cut and cover and into the Interchange tunnels. Team members were proud to showcase their project to their loved ones and many took the opportunity to snap some photos.
CPB Contractors is currently delivering the Rozelle Interchange in a joint venture. Once complete, it will connect the extended M4 and the new M5 to the Anzac Bridge and Victoria Rd and provide connections to other proposed projects across Sydney.
