CPB Contractors project-led school engagement programs are playing a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of construction professionals through real-world, hands-on exposure.
Through these programs, students gain valuable insights into the construction industry, participating in a range of behind-the-scenes activities, including comprehensive site tours, engaging interactive discussions, and essential safety inductions.
To date, over 2,800 students have taken part in the immersive program at Brisbane’s Cross River Rail project.
In recent months, CPB Contractors has welcomed students from a variety of educational institutions, including the Queensland University of Technology's Gender Equity in Engineering Makes Sense (GEMS) Student Club, a Year 11 Engineering Class from the Australian International Islamic College, and guests from Shailer Park State High School.
CPB Contractors operates similar project-based school engagement programs across Australia and New Zealand which are focused on empowering and inspiring students from all backgrounds to explore the exciting career opportunities that the construction industry can offer.
