Broad Construction has been selected by the Western Australian Government to deliver the new State Football Centre at Queens Park in Perth.
The State Football Centre will include training facilities and playing fields to support grassroots and high-performance football programs.
The centre will also be the home of Football West, the game’s governing body in WA.
Broad Construction’s General Manager Cyril Cahill said: “We are pleased to have the opportunity to apply our specialist building skills to this valuable community project. Projects like this leave a lasting legacy and these will be facilities used by the community for many years to come.”
The works to be delivered include:
- a two-storey building, with a grandstand (standard capacity of 700)
- two competition and training pitches
- on-site car parking
The project is being jointly funded by the Australian and WA Governments and will be completed in early 2023.
