The CPB Contractors team delivering Christchurch’s Parakiore Recreation and Sport Centre Project marked World Health and Safety Day with a workshop afternoon. The event allowed staff and subcontractors to reflect on the importance of preventing occupational deaths, injuries, and illnesses and to remember those who have tragically lost their lives while at work.
The World Health and Safety Day event was inaugurated by CPB Contractors Project Manager Gene O’Sullivan, who spoke of the importance of the day and the 2022 theme ‘Act together to build a positive safety and health culture’.
