Recently, Broad Construction hosted a mid-year mentoring workshop for their Queensland team, bringing together women from across the business for an afternoon of learning, team building and networking.
Ten female team members are taking part in Broad Construction’s 12-month mentoring program in Queensland, which pairs them with a senior leader from the business.
Broad Construction Human Resources Manager Latika Mahar highlighted that this program forms part of the business's broader gender diversity strategy.
"Our mentoring program is designed to connect high-performing females across Broad Construction with senior leaders; it focuses on accelerating their professional and personal growth," Latika explained.
The mentoring program operates across Broad Construction offices in Western Australia and Queensland and has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from mentors and mentees alike.
"Our mentees gain invaluable insights and experience from senior leaders, while mentors benefit from fresh perspectives that drive innovation and enhance organisational performance. It’s a win-win for everyone involved," Latika added.
