Recently, Broad Construction hosted a series of National Women in Construction (NAWIC) workshops at their Western Australian headquarters, reinforcing the company’s commitment to providing safe, inclusive and diverse workplaces with equal career opportunities.
With more than 40 in attendance, the workshops focused on "Communicating with Clarity" and aimed to enhance communication skills, a vital aspect of professional development, particularly in the construction industry where clear and effective communication can significantly impact project success.
“The workshops were heavily attended by both Broad Construction and CPB Contractors’ employees, with many walking away with valuable strategies and tools to implement in their daily interactions,” explains Broad Construction Human Resources Manager Latika Mahar.
Broad Construction has a long-standing partnership with NAWIC, which supports its commitment to support the attraction, retention and development of women across its business and in the wider construction industry.
