Anna Htun - CIMIC Group 2021 Graduate of the Year

Congratulations to Anna Htun who is the CIMIC Group’s Graduate of the Year Award winner for excellence in engineering. 

Anna’s win was announced by CIMIC Group Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Juan Santamaria at CIMIC Group’s annual graduate program graduation.

The virtual event celebrated 219 graduates who joined the award-winning program in 2020. 

Congratulations to all of the 2020 – 2021 graduates who are now stepping straight into the next phase of their career journey with CIMIC Group.

The award recognised Anna’s outstanding contributions to safety, innovation and sustainability.

Anna works as Graduate Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Civil and Construction Engineering (Honours).

 

Working with Broad Construction, Anna has built her experience in contract administration, design management and project delivery by completing rotations on major commercial and correctional projects.

Anna’s outstanding achievements include safety, efficiency and value engineering initiatives. For example, she developed a Precast Panel Installation Checklist for Broad Construction’s Building Management System. Anna also collaborated with EIC Activities to implement the Reconstruct software program to track productivity and schedule risk on a Broad Construction project. 

Anna is also active in the industry. She champions mental health and wellbeing through her involvement with Mates in Construction. Anna also volunteers her time with organisations such as the Australian Institute of Building and NAWIC – the National Association of Women in Construction. This week NAWIC’s West Australian chapter presented Anna with their Emerging Talent award.
