The FTSE4Good Index Series identifies companies that demonstrate strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices measured against globally recognised standards.

Logan project scores Leading ISCA rating
In a recent example of CIMIC Group companies’ sustainability leadership, CPB Contractors was recognised by the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA) for their work delivering the Logan Enhancement Project.
The major highway infrastructure project, completed in August 2019, was certified with an IS Leading As Built rating for avoiding 17,093 tonnes of CO2-e emissions, reducing energy by 9.8 percent, water by 36 percent and materials by 12 percent.
It is Queensland’s first infrastructure project to receive an IS ‘Leading’ rating.
The Logan Enhancement Project included upgrading parts of the Logan motorway, improving key congestion hot spots (Mt Lindesay Highway/Beaudesert Road interchange and the Wembley Road/Logan Motorway interchange) and constructing new south-facing ramps at Compton Road.
