Broad Construction’s Brisbane South Secondary State College wins AIB Professional Excellence in Building Award
Designed and built by Broad Construction in 2021, the vertical, inner-city project included two learning hubs, a health and wellbeing hub, a creative hub and an administration hub connected by walkways. The delivery of BSSSC also included green space, sports facilities and a learning oasis.

Leighton Asia received the ‘Outstanding Infrastructure Project Award’ at the Build4Asia Awards 2022 for the Liantang / Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point project in Hong Kong. Build4Asia Awards recognise projects’ excellence in sustainability in terms of green designs and contractors’ environmental practices.

Top industry accolade for construction of the Sydney Metro
The Sydney Metro City & Southwest Tunnel and Station Excavation Works has won the 2022 Australian Construction Achievement Award.Delivered as a joint venture in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, the project includes 15.5kms of fully lined tunnels between Chatswood and Sydenham, along with 57 cross-passages and two permanent dive structures, seven underground stations and numerous rail corridor widenings, shafts and caverns.
