Approaching tunnels project that interfaced with the West Kowloon Station

Leighton Asia, with its joint venture partner, constructed the 311m approach tunnel and the 121m track fan tunnel, both constructed using cut and cover techniques.

Works also included a public transport interchange incorporating associated public toilets, plant buildings and landscaping for the the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link.

Other works also include the construction of a 300-metre road underpass and three new footbridges.
