Supporting Western Sydney's exponential growth

CPB Contractors has been selected by the Australian and NSW governments to deliver the next stage of The Northern Road upgrade project, which will upgrade existing road infrastructure between Luddenham and Glenmore Park.

The construct-only contract with Roads and Maritime Services, to be delivered as part of the $1.6 billion The Northern Road upgrade project, will generate revenue of approximately $170 million for CPB Contractors.

The Northern Road upgrade project will upgrade road infrastructure between Littlefields Road in Luddenham and Glenmore Parkway in Glenmore Park, including upgrading 6.7km of road from two lanes to a divided four-lane alignment, with the provision of kerbside bus lanes at each intersection.

Construction commenced in 2019 and is expected to conclude in 2022.

It brings our work in the area to $210 million, following the selection of CPB Contractors, with its JV partner, for the early earthworks package from Western Sydney Airport Co.

The Northern Road upgrade project will support the development of an upgraded road network and capitalise on the benefits from the new Western Sydney Airport at Badgerys Creek, which CPB Contractors is now proudly laying the foundations for with its JV partner.

The Australian and NSW governments are upgrading The Northern Road and Bringelly Road as part of the Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan, a $3.6 billion program to support integrated transport in the region and capitalise on the economic benefits from developing the Western Sydney Airport at Badgerys Creek.

CPB Contractors acknowledge the Mulgoa people of the Darug Nation as the traditional and continuing custodians of the lands on which The Northern Road Upgrade will be delivered.
