Since 2010, Brad has held various commercial and operational positions for CPB Contractors in the capacity of Commercial Director and Project Director.
Prior to that, he was a Senior Partner in a law firm in the Republic of South Africa. Brad has more than 20 years’ experience in commercial and construction law. He holds a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Port Elizabeth in the Republic of South Africa.
In 2012 Brad converted his law degree through the University of Sydney.
Sedgman Managing Director, NHD Eng (Mechanical) GAICD
Grant was appointed as Managing Director of Sedgman in December 2017, having acted in the role since September 2017.
During 20 years with CIMIC Group, Grant has held a number of senior management positions including EIC Activities General Manager, Thiess Sedgman Joint Venture Manager and most recently Thiess General Manager.
Grant’s previous experience includes 18 years with Thiess where he was responsible for the delivery of engineering, procurement and construction projects. Grant has engineering and construction experience in the resources and energy industry, working on oil and gas and minerals processing projects globally. He has delivered major projects and demonstrated skills in strategy, business development, tendering and project delivery.
UGL Managing Director, BE Civil (Hons), MEng Sc
Appointed as Managing Director of UGL in November 2020. Doug was formerly Executive General Manager of Transport & Technology for UGL.
With more than 25 years in management positions in the infrastructure industry, Doug has a wealth of expertise in construction and operations and maintenance as well as extensive knowledge across the telecommunications, transport, water, property, power, industrial and resources sectors throughout Australia.
Prior to his role as Managing Director of Lendlease Services, Doug held senior roles in the Thiess Services business for over 20 years, successfully growing the utilities, telecommunications, transportation and remediation businesses, and moving Thiess into long term operations and maintenance contracts in water, transport and hospitals through a number of major Private Public Partnerships.
Appointed Pacific Partnerships Managing Director in 2021. Simon has more than 20 years’ experience in transport and social infrastructure projects with a track record of leading successful teams and delivering major infrastructure projects under traditional and PPP structures.
Simon’s engineering and technical expertise spans strategy, development and operations phasesof both transport (including heavy rail, metro, light rail and freight) and social infrastructure projects. In particular this experience includesPPP projects such as Canberra Light Rail, Cross River Rail, Regional Rail Fleet Program and Waikeria Corrections Treatment Facility.
Prior to joining Pacific Partnerships, Simon worked with companies including John Holland, SERCO, Downer and Alstom Transport.
EIC Activities Managing Director, BE (Civil), Graduate Diploma Business Administration
Appointed as Managing Director of EIC Activities in October 2020. Geoff was formerly EIC Activities’ General Manager, NSW.
Geoff is EIC Activities’ sponsor for services to CIMIC Group companies Leighton Asia and Pacific Partnerships.
Geoff has over 35 years consulting design and construction experience across the building, civil infrastructure, rail, marine and energy and resources sectors in Australia and South East Asia.
Geoff was previously Manager, Engineering Services – Specialist Engineering with John Holland. Prior to that Geoff was Project Director and Principal Structural Engineer, GHD.
Geoff is a Chartered Professional Engineer (Civil and Structural) and a Member of Engineers Australia.
CPB Contractors Managing Director, BEng (Civil) Hon
Appointed as Managing Director of CPB Contractors in November 2020. Jason was formerly Managing Director of UGL.
Jason has 25 years’ experience working in Australia and internationally as a professional engineer and business leader in the resource, civil infrastructure and building sectors.
Jason, who joined CIMIC Group in 1999, was previously Executive General Manager, Major Projects and NSW at CPB Contractors. Prior to that he held roles at Thiess.
He has led successful outcomes on major projects and demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills across all phases of strategy, business development, tendering and project delivery. His strong focus on safety and disciplined project controls has resulted in project certainty and value for money outcomes for clients, as well as business growth and improved profitability for the company.
