Graduate of the Year - Anna Htun
Anna Htun, Graduate Engineer

Anna Htun, Graduate Engineer, holds a Bachelor of Civil and Construction Engineering (Honours). Working with Broad, Anna built her experience in contract administration, design management and project delivery by completing rotations on major commercial and correctional projects.

Anna’s outstanding achievements include safety, efficiency and value engineering initiatives. For example, she developed a Precast Panel Installation Checklist for Broad’s Building Management System. Anna also collaborated with EIC Activities to implement the Reconstruct software program to track productivity and schedule risk on a Broad project.

Anna is also active in the industry. She champions mental health and wellbeing through her involvement with Mates in Construction. Anna also volunteers her time with organisations such as the Australian Institute of Building and NAWIC – the National Association of Women in Construction. This week NAWIC’s West Australian chapter presented Anna with their Emerging Talent award.

Lachlan Maclean, Graduate Sustainability, holds a Bachelor of Science with majors in Earth Science and Geographical Science. Part of the CPB Contractors team, Lachlan completed rotations with the Victorian/South Australian/Tasmanian Business Unit and the North East Link Early Works project. He has built experience across sustainability strategy, pre-contracts, project delivery and digital innovation.

Lachlan’s outstanding achievements include delivering his project’s Climate Change Risk Assessment and Adaptation report. He led multidisciplinary teams to meet all requirements and efficiently integrate sustainability into delivery.

Lachlan went on to support implementation of the project’s new sustainability reporting platform. He also developed his ability to perform project lifecycle assessments. This has expanded our in-house capability to use energy, water, and materials resource modelling to develop sustainable solutions and add value for clients.
