CIMIC Group Limited ensures that a comprehensive series of policies, procedures and guidelines relating to corporate governance, ethics, and financial and risk management are in place across its operations.

CIMIC is responsible for providing overall operating parameters for its operating entities. This includes setting financial controls, conducting business audits, investment and acquisition overview.

Managing risk is a critical element of the Group’s overall business strategy and has been a key contributor to its success. CIMIC’s risk management framework is tailored to its business, embedded largely within existing processes and aligned to the Company’s objectives, both short and longer term.

The Corporate Governance Statement 2017 sets out CIMIC's compliance with the core principles identified in the third edition of the ASX Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations. This report should be read in conjunction with the Annual Report 2017.
