UGL delivered maintenance services to the Royal Australian Navy for their fleet of 12 LHD Landing Craft (LLC).

We ensured the availability and the reliability of the vessels through a range of operating, engineering, maintenance and supply support services including the following scope of work:

• management of preventative and corrective maintenance
• planning, scheduling and maintenance management
• engineering design and configuration controls
• supply chain support
• safety, quality and environmental controls
• subcontractor management

The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) has a fleet of 12 amphibious landing craft purpose built for the Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) ships – HMAS Canberra and HMAS Adelaide.

The LHD Landing Craft (LLC) provide an important ship to shore connection for vehicles, equipment, stores and personnel and are specific to the CANBERRA Class LHD’s.
