CIMIC Group companies have been successful in winning many prestigious awards over the years. Recent awards include:

Australian Business Awards

CPB Contractors (formerly Leighton Contractors) was awarded the 2014 Australian Business Award for Sustainability. The award acknowledges  CPB Contractors’ industry-leading approach to energy management across its business, including some 150 projects, and the supply chain.

QLD Premier's Sustainability Award Thiess, Saipem Australia and Santos GLNG were awarded the prestigious 2014 Queensland Premier's Innovation in Sustainable Technologies Award for the innovative Narrows Crossing tunnel.
PCA Leighton Properties was awarded the National Best Mixed Use Award at the 2014 Property Council of Australia Innovation and Excellence Awards for its Hamilton Harbour project, which was completed in joint venture with Devine.
RTSA

The Regional Rail Link project was awarded the Infrastructure Project of the Year at the 2014 Infrastructure Partnerships Australia National Infrastructure Awards. CIMIC Group companies who have worked on this project include CPB Contractor's (formerly Leighton Contractors) Regional Rail Link - Deer Park to West Werribee Junction project and  Thiess' Regional Rail Link  - Footscray to Deer Park project.

Thiess' Hunter Expressway Stage 2 project was awarded the 2014 Contractor Excellence Award.
AEEA

Thiess as part of the Hunter Expressway Alliance was awarded the 2013 Contractor Excellence Award at the Australian Engineering Excellence Awards.

IRF

The Thiess John Holland Joint Venture, builder of Brisbane's AirportLinkM7 road tunnel project, was awarded the 2013 International Roads Federation (IRF) Global Road Achievement Award for Construction Methodology.

ACAA

The Australian Construction Achievement Award, presented by Australian Constructors Association (ACA) and Engineers Australia, brings together the best construction projects, delivered by the nation’s very best construction companies.

In 2015 it was awarded to the Regional Rail Link in Victoria, a $3.9 billion project comprising 6 integrated Alliance and Design/Construct components headed by contractors John Holland, Thiess, Baulderstone, Lend Lease, CPB Contractors (formerly Leighton Contractors), Downer EDI and UGL Limited.
