Ventia is a dedicated services company created in early 2015 through the integration of Leighton Contractors Services, Thiess Services and Visionstream. Visionstream, Chargepoint, Imatis Australia and Delron operate as part of Ventia. It was formed by a 50:50 investment partnership between CIMIC and funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management.

Ventia’s vision is to be the best telecommunications, infrastructure and utilities services company in the regions in which it operates.

Its more than 6,400 employees have a common purpose of making infrastructure work for our communities. Some of the ways Ventia does this is through:

  • helping design and build Australia’s wireless and fixed line capacity so you stay connected to the world
  • operating and maintaining major tunnels and motorways in our cities to keep traffic flowing so you arrive at your destination safely and on time
  • maintaining power poles and wires so your lights stay on.

Ventia is an independent company formed by a 50/50 investment partnership between CIMIC and funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management.

CIMIC’s 50% partner in Ventia, Apollo, is a leading global investment manager. It has a history of investing, with a long-term focus, in industrial services, manufacturing, telecommunications networks, energy services, power and utilities businesses, and the resources sector.

Ventia has capabilities in all areas of the services value chain and has assembled a team with strong experience, both in Australia and overseas, in delivering services projects. 

Ventia delivers operations, maintenance, facilities and asset management services, as well as premier telecommunications and ICT solutions to industrial and commercial clients and government agencies across the water, energy, communications, infrastructure and environmental sectors.
