Rejecting modern slavery

CIMIC Group respects the human rights of all our people and those we work alongside, in our supply chain and the communities in which we operate.

We reject modern slavery practices such as debt bondage, child labour, forced labour and human trafficking which exploit vulnerable people.

Reducing the risk

To assess and address modern slavery risks, CIMIC Group leverages our integrated governance, compliance, procurement, and people frameworks, applying a disciplined and consistent approach across our Operating Companies.

Our Modern Slavery Statement describes how we identify, mitigate and prevent the risk of modern slavery, and remedy any impacts which may occur.

It also details the actions we’ve undertaken in the past year, inclusive of Human Rights Impact Assessments, compliance audits and supplier screening; and our continuous improvement priorities for the current year.

The document meets the requirements of the Australian Government’s Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth).

Our Modern Slavery Policy outlines CIMIC Group’s commitment to assess and address risks associated with modern slavery, provides guidance to our Operating Companies, and sets out the Group’s reporting obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth).
